Activities

By becoming efficient learners, students have more time to participate in other pursuits that help to satisfy their social, physical, aesthetic and intellectual needs.
And as an activity broadens and deepens students’ understanding, we give a great deal of importance to this idea and support extra-curricular activities such as:-

Religious Community

Religious activities are represented in:
- Organizing seminars with great Islamic thinkers and Sheikhs and encouraging open discussion with our students.

-A course for memorizing Quran and teaching the different ways of reciting “Tajweed” is held during the year and in the summer vacation

*** The Activity includes the explanation of reciting Quran
Memorizing and also embedded religious information through the
verses of Quran.

* Activity time:
a) School days: Every Thursday from 3:00 pm till 4:30 pm
b) Summer vacation: Every Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from
11:00 am till 1:00 pm

Journalist Community

Journalists’ community has participated in several contests across Egypt.
Members of the community had several important reports and field
trips to:

Cairo fire fighting unit (Civil Forces) and had an interview with the chief unit \ Major Mamdouh Abd EL Kader.

Al- Wafd journal and had an interview with the chief editor Mr. Anwar El-Hawary .

Field & Entertainting Trip

They enrich the classroom activities and combine the valuable lessons learnt with new technology and methods to provide a successful education system.

Parents receive prior notification of each trip.

Mass Iftar Party

This party is held in Ramadan for both teachers and students in presentable places. Sharing nice moments plants love, respect and trust between teachers and students, and so leads to a perfect teacher-student relationship.

In 2007, Mass Iftar party was held in (Dar- Al-Eshara ).

Dish Party

This party is held in each class under the supervision of the class teacher. Each student brings his preferable food to share it with the others.

Students should develop greater awareness of themselves, concern for others and ability to work co-operatively with other people.

Internet access & Researches

It is expanded in the school’s library and computer labs to improve the availability of internet related research.

Students are trained to use technology to research information in various subjects.

Sports & Tournaments

It is represented in class and school tournaments in different games such as football, basketball…… etc.

The annual promotion ceremony

It is held in the school after each semester for the top-ranking students to be honored for their excellent academic achievements.

The School`s annual show

Students are encouraged to share their energy and special talents with others through participating in theater and musical production.

This activity improves the students’ communication and social skills.
- In 2007 , it was held in the BUC.
