Curriculum
Kindly note that during the course of the academic year, the KG1 teachers become very familiar child's personality and capabilities
At the end of the year, the grouping of students is reviewed and each child is placed in the KG 2 group which will best serve his/her academic, physical and social development.
Children are not moved from group to group during the course of the academic year as we believe this will have an adverse effect on their learning. In a similar way, at the end of KG 2 the teachers work closely with the Grade 1 team in placing each child in the appropriate learning group.

Parents are asked to check their child's Hello book every day as circulars and letters are often sent home with the children.
Sometimes there may be requests for the children to bring items such fruits o vegetables for the following day's lessons.
Cooperation and understanding between parents and the KG team are essential I the learning process is to be successful. We welcome positive input and suggestions from parents and would ask that if you have any concerns, you do not hesitate to contact the Head of K so that we can discuss them and explain to you what is going on.
Written reports are sent to all parents twice a year and contain a written comment, and an indication of achievement in individual skills. Reports should be collected from the KG office at the end of the first semester and returned after signing. At the end of the end o the second semester, reports may also be collected from the KG office.
Parents are reminded that Curriculum development is an ongoing process and that each year the KG Curriculum is reviewed and, and where appropriate, revised and modified.
