Admissions are based on school records, entrance exam and age.
The school year is divided in two semesters from beginning of September until mid-June.
The school day extends from 07:45 to 14:40, Sunday to Thursday.
Students in the Prep. stage are to choose between the German and French language as a second foreign language in first Prep.
Private tutoring is absolutely rejected and discouraged. So the students, who don’t meet the academic standard required, can join remedial classes or groups arranged in the school to help the students catch up to their colleagues as quickly as possible. This program, for all subjects, starts by the beginning of each academic year.
Our students are tested frequently: weekly quizzes, monthly exams, midyear exam and final exam. Testing trains students, reinforces knowledge and prepares students successfully to face and tackle different situations under pressure. It also allows our academic teachers to monitor the students’ performance and to pinpoint a gap that needs to be filled to secure a solid foundation on which to build further knowledge.
Parent meetings have and will continue to take place after each monthly exam. Prior notification of the time of the meeting will be in the students’ report.
All our teachers are qualified, experienced and creative. They foster critical and creative thinking and abilities in the students and exhibit genuine interest, curiosity and commitment to learning. Our teachers teach the students to seek imaginative and ethical solutions to any challenges that they face.
